Carl A. Batt is a professor at Cornell University.  As part of his professional activities, he has been involved in grant development assisting PI's through the entire process.  His perspective comes from over 30 years of being a PI, and successful applications that have brought in more than $70M to his laboratory and the centers that he founded.  His experience as a consultant began with engagements by a number of universities and Stone Fence Collaborative is a manifestation of this experience.  Prof. Batt is still an active publishing researcher, teacher and of course grant writer.

Our current and former clients include a number of universities, Wayne State, George Mason, George Washington, Augusta, Missouri, RIT and others.  These clients understand the value of expert advice coming from a team with a wealth of real proposal development experience from the perspective of the PI.
